Dried noodles
380 x 780 cm

A site-specific installation, made during a residency in China. Out of the considerable constraints imposed by using noodles - which had to be purchased fresh each morning and worked on before they dried out - a new, playful reality emerged that references the undulations of the Yangtze River (whose waters generate much of the country's power) and the Chinese people's voracious consumption of resources.
